This book has convinced me that the world is using its resources, especially food and energy, at unsustainable rates. Something therefore needs to be done to reduce our stress on the environment before shortages are forced upon us. While predicting future disaster for the world as a whole if we continue in our currant consumption trends, Diamond avoids fear-mongering by offering solutions and reasons for hope. He also explains that everyone should care about growing environmental problems because they will create tangible costs for everyone. Environmentalism isn't just for environmentalists anymore.

A very funny, insightful book. The essays here stretch out a bit more, but that's not a bad thing.

I will never get those ten minutes back that I spent flipping through this terrible book.

Biff, Christ's childhood friend and a previously unmentioned apostle is woken from the dead to write his story. Quirky humorous as Moore always is (but and not for those we would call "sensitive"). I like Moore and this is probably his biggest most liked book, but it was not my favorite and generally over hyped for me. The best parts involved Raziel, but if you like him, he's better in The Stupidest Angel.
