The story of Tree-ear's apprenticeship as a potter is slow but interesting. I'll have to go and see the Thousand Cranes pot.
Never could get in to this one
I love this book. I've reread it countless times.
My favorite part was when he ate the sweet potato from the street vendor (yes, really), and the end, when he FINALLY decides to live for himself.
