I bought this from the bargain table at Border's because I really liked Ahab's Wife by Sena Jeter Nasland. It takes place in Birmingham during the Martin Luther King era, and shows events from multiple points of view, including those of civil rights activists, redneck Klansmen, and others.

What a wonderful book of a little boys jorney to heaven. It was so believable. Thanks Daddy Todd for writing it.

Book club choice for February 2011. I really enjoyed this story-loved the characters and the setting. We lived in the Seattle area for 4 years when we were first married and so I had a special connection to the setting.

I love books about Japan :)

Really good short stories. This author is very good and she's great and description. She writes well of things she's familiar with like the East Coast, Calcutta, India, and the like. I could easily pictures some of these as movies.
