It's short stories and of course I liked some more than others. My favorites were "Teddy" and "The Laughing Man". I'm told if you want to read all the Salinger books about this Glass family (this is one of them) you should read Seymour, an Introduction and Raise High the Roofbeams first. I have not read those yet.

So tragic, but a wonderful story of the human spirit to survive.
