I just like the cover on this one. The 10th BOOK is the one with the sex scene! *wink* it's really not that interesting, honestly, but a climatic turning point in the series(no pun intended! seriously!)
Surprisin! I expected a legal thriller and got that PLUS social commentary and worthwhile moral insight. Excellent book.
Most of these elixirs would be potentially lethal to work with.
Highly enjoyable. I especially enjoyed reading about the Chinese and Japanese lore surrounding tea, and the evolution of the formal tea ritual.
A great, insightful book pointing out the things men do that are pretty dumb in regards to relationships with women! I really felt like my eyes were opened and I feel so much more enlightened and aware. Dr. Laura pulled out all the stops and just told it like it is.
Update: Had to return this to the library before I finished it, but I'm going to check it out again. I was about one-third of the way through and enjoying it. In addition to learning about her childhood and early adulthood, I learned a lot about D.C. in the 1940s and 50s. Reading this on the recommendation of Scott.
