a story about living in Montana, growing up on the Crow reservation, playing high school basketball, alcoholism, etc. etc...all non-fiction and a little bit heavy, but very readable.

A HUUUUUGE favorite! Every few years I have to read it again! I read the whole book in an hour or two. It is short, but I couldn't put it down! Defiantly a top 5 for me!

I really liked this book. Kind of hard to put down once I got into it. I did not like the rape or violence details too much though. But I still enjoyed the characters and the storyline . I am reading book 2 now and look forward to the rest of the series since I have heard it gets even better.
