This has got to be one of the best books that I have read on this topic. It took me a little bit to follow where he was going and the structure he uses, but once I got it, it was amazing. Very good.

This book isn't exactly a page turner, but it's not boring either. I loved the insights and many, many lessons of virtue that were woven throughout the book. It really helps you think, not only about the proper way to treat animals, but also about the proper way to treat our fellow men if you see the parallels. The kids really enjoyed it also and it sparked some great conversation.

such a fun book! almost all of my jf's are my daughter's books that she left on the table... i pick them up and am sucked in!
