I had to read it for English class in ninth grade. I thought it was awful. the beginning of the book didn't make any sense This book takes place in the future where books are banned. Guy Montag, the main character is a "fireman" but he burns books instead of putting out fires. When he meets Clarisse he starts to question his life. He begans to steal books when he goes to burn them. He runs away when the "firemen" come to burn down his house after his wife Mildred and two of her friends report Guy for having books. When jet bombers destroy the city Guy and a group of people he meets who read and memorize books then burn them return to rebuild the city and a new society.

For anyone who likes to travel, welcomes ambiguity, and loves Italy, Indonesia, or India - this book is fantastic.

This is an LDS author, so I'm always a little hesitant to read books like this. They are very predictable. However, this one I loved! It is a romance, but there is also adventure. An easy read, that will just make you feel good.

The true and harrowing story of Ms. Allen's life of incest. Betrayed by her own father who told her to "keep the secret". The suffering and sadness her father placed upon her is totally unforgivable! A great amount of courage and honesty on Ms. Allen's part for writing her true story is applauded for bringing to lite an all too often tragedy in our society.

This is my first book by Christine Feehan. I LOVE all of her work. She is masterful in her art. More to come.
