Just so-so. The characters are rather flat and their romance is too contrived. It's obvious from the beginning who she'll fall in love with, and that process of falling is typical. The mystery of what's going on is ok, but the protagonist's methods of dealing with it seem ridiculous most of the time, and ok only sometimes. That said, it moves quickly along with good pacing. But it's the kind of book I'll forget about soon enough, and I won't be sad to see it go.
