Excellent book! Defenitly my favorite in the series. Way better than the movie, much better character development and conclusion. Not so much sappy, "oh Sam" from Frodo.
While I enjoyed parts of Second-Guessing Fate, I was a bit disappointed in this book. I thought it was kind of silly, and it seemed disjointed to me in places when it transitioned quickly from one scene to another. I loved the main male character, Nick, but the main female, Gemma, I found quite annoying. The storyline was kind of cute, but could have been done better. The fortune teller Gemma goes to tells her a good looking man will break her heart before she finds her soul mate. When she meets Nick, a man who seems completely wonderful, Gemma begins to date him and decides to go ahead and let him dump her so that she can get on with finding her soul mate. What follows is Gemma trying to act badly enough for Nick to dump her, and him reigning in his control and accepting everything she says and does. Gemma never thought it would be so hard to get rid of a man. There were cute parts to this book, and the hero was lovely, but the book was a let down overall. Gemma was so over the top that it just seemed silly. I started almost wishing that Nick would boot her out because of all of the things she did trying to get rid of him.
Yay! A book about Automats! Bring them back!
