I read this to my children (ages 5 & 6). They were fascinated through the entire book. We finished the book within one day. I remembering reading this when I was a child. I loved it then and I love it now.

What could be better for a light, quick read than to combine cats and murder mystery? Works for me.

I didn't really enjoy this series, the characters lacked depth and were entirely unsympathetic. It was hard to connect or care about their journey and the plots were predictable and bland.
