Quite a masterpiece of fiction. It's many layers demand more than a single reading.

This really is an entertaining series. It's light hearted with a pinch of vamp dramatics. This one wasn't the most exciting, but reading it did make me remember that I liked the first two. On to book 4!

I enjoyed it. I'd recommend it. I don't hold with the preachers and theologians who are making a lot of hay about its supposed scriptural inaccuracies. I think the author was trying to express something we don't have adequate words for, and he did a decent job with a very difficult subject.

Read this book. I don't care what else you're doing. Put it down, stop the car, push your lover off you. Read this book, now.
