I read this book again this week. The first time I read it was when it first came out when I was in high school. I remember it as an amazing book, and it didn't quite live up to my memory. I reduced my rating by one star. I plan to read the rest of the Quartet - perhaps finishing the series will give me more satisfaction than this one book did.

I love this series so much. I knew I had multiple copies for a reason! on to the next one!

Quality.

This book is amazing! I love the fact that there are many different stories all compiled into this one book. Every one of these people experienced the war in a different way and from a different viewpoint. It is truly amazing to see how each of these people dealt with at the time of the war and how they deal with the memories.
