Strong writing, but mostly notable for the honesty with which she discusses her life.
If you liked "American Psycho" and "Lunar Park," you will probably like this hybrid of those two, too. If you haven't read either, it's still a quick, entertaining read. Viewing "Less Than Zero" is actually more 'beneficial' (hardly necessary, though) than reading it, if you are inclined to choose, if only because it's fun to picture present-day Andrew McCarthy as the 'surprisingly' Bateman-esque main character.
I'm loving all the books I've been reading about the Scottish Highlanders. The romance weaved with the trials and responsibilities the laird has makes each one interesting.
An interesting book on how Tacitus's Germania has been used over the centuries to fit different ideologies. Well researched which makes the read seem more tutorial than entertaining at times. Still, I did enjoy the topic.
