Duma Key is the first Stephen King book I’ve read in almost two decades. No question about it, he is still a good writer. This is certainly not one of his better books. But it is very readable with only a couple of flaws. The pace is a little slower than many of his books. As usual, he captures you in wondering, hooks you. If you want a good beach read, particularly if you are in Florida, then go for it.
