One of my favorite books of all time. The adventure of Bilbo Baggins becomes our adventure when he leaves the Shire at the request (and prodding) of the wizard Gandalf. A book that warms my heart when thinking of it. Proving that even a meek and sheltered little hobbit can contribute much to this world and become valued beyond his imagination. Simply one of the greatest adventure tales ever written.
