An interesting take on werewolves, and thankfully nothing like the spate of ya paranormal romance coming out at the moment. I've always thought werewolves and vampires would interest me a lot more if an author chose to set a story involving them in the past, but too many of them choose the present. This one's set in ye ancient Scotland (although, perhaps not that ancient, come to think of it), and involves a small village, witch hunts, and wood carving. I was a little disappointed in the ending, and felt, as a whole, that the story could have been fleshed out more, and everything explored more thoroughly.
