Well, this book really sings. I mean, Sorcerer is great. It's a tool kit that screams, "Go build something cool. Draw up your own plans and go create!" but Sorcerer & Sword takes that idea and runs with it. Not as open as either Sorcerer and Sorcerer's Soul. Sorcerer & Sword is laser focused. And yet it still screams with possibilities. There is no one way to play. It challenges my assumptions about RPGs and makes me want to look even more closely at what I do when I play. It also makes me want to explore the source fiction. It comes back to the same question that I've been left with after reading Sorcerer and Sorcerer's Soul: What will my game of Sorcerer be about?
Well told story, good description of life in Ethiopia, and as immigrant to US, and doctor in a poor US community hospital.
