More than just a seedyu typical angsty teen book
Mma. Makutsi gets married in this delightful continuation of the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. The simple humor, wisdom, and characters making a living in present day Botswana have become comforting old friends. As always, it was a delight being in their presence.
A light and fluffy, easy read. Yes I knew what was going to happen in the end, but that didn't bother me. I didn't always agree with the main character's actions, but she was still fun to read. I'm a sucker for good sarcastic banter and I really enjoyed the interactions between characters. I also enjoyed that it felt realistic. The only thing that bothered me was the brownie incident...That didn't ring quite as true. Overall, it's a light fast read and I enjoyed it.
