fascinating and disturbing

Not a terrible read, but some of the most unlikable pathetic characters, I found myself routing for them to fail.

Allegheny peeps - This is a great story written by Deve Eggers and about Valentino Achak Deng, a Sudanese refugee and member of the Lost Boys of Sudan program. Valentino was admitted as a sophomore to Allegheny. I was in Thailand on our honeymoon reading this book and the connection to Allegheny made it feel like such a small world.
