Very engaging! It is like a soap opera. This is the first of her books that I had ever read. It started out a little sappy but quickly started moving along. Really enjoyed it! Read 'Tara Road' by her next.

Not a bad book - definitely a fun read. You get to revisit the characters from the previous two books (something I always appreciate), and Foster's pacing is always solid. I'm not going to give away too much about the plot as I feel it will spoil the previous 2 books if you haven't already read them. I think I liked Alani best of the three heroines - she's had horrible things happen to her, but she's still pretty independent, although I would have thought that someone with such strong men in her life would have developed more sarcasm survival skills. There's not a lot of TSTL content with these characters, which is a nice change of pace. I must confess - I would prefer to have this as a trilogy, but suspect that the sequel bait introduced may move this into a fourth book - no more detail here, as I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. I like Lori Foster's work, and will continue to read this series; the energy, pacing and fun characters - not to mention the smoking' hot intimate scenes - always make her a great read.

Kiss of Moonlight is the first book in the Lucani Lovers series. It introduces us to Kyle Rossini who is Etruscan -werewolf- and the King's assassin. (Thankfully, Stephanie provides us with a glossary in the beginning of the book) He's a loner and not looking for a mate (isn't that always the case? ;}), but can't resist Tamra. Tamra suffered an attack and has been closed off since then. But, when a little black dog (wolf) shows up, she feels safe in talking about her pain and the ordeal. The "little black dog" being Kyle's daughter, Cat. Cat, lives with her mother and her mate, but spends time with Kyle. They are close and their relationship is touching. Kyle and Tamra both need someone, whether they realized it or not, and they find those needs fulfilled by the other. They are good for each other. Kiss of Moonlight was a fun introduction to Kyle's world. I look forward to reading more of the series.
