Very interesting so far... A novel about a polygamist family, from a different angle than I have seen before. Wow! I couldn't stop reading this one. And I have such compassion for the polygamist characters. Two parallel themes are explored in this book. The health effects of nuclear bomb testing in the American West and Polygamy. I guess I never thought about health effects of the testing that occurred above ground before and after WW11, but cancer, birth defects, burns,etc effected the residents of the surrounding states.

i actually read this at barnes at nobles while i was waiting in line lol. its a great story for kids. it teaches them about the history of ameica, and how some one as small as they are will grow up big and do big things like those people.
