This book really hit home with me...having a Twin Brother & a Son who were picked on especially in Elementary School, made me Mad & Sad! The interesting thing was that both of them were big for their age, but of course...both gentle giants! I also have a good friend who was on the Denver PD Swat team and was first in the Library at Columbine...it is something that he had talked to my husband about weeks before it happened...what would be the worst thing you would ever have to face as a Police Officer and of course the answer was having to deal with a child or teen with a gun. He came home after locked his door, pulled the drapes and called my husband to help pour out the Horror he had just witnessed. I liked the fact that Jodi told EVERYONES story! The ending took me by surprise, but it is so close to real life it is scary! I look forward to reading her other books! Friends in Reading!
