A great read -- and thank goodness for Oprah, without whom John Steinbeck would have vanished into oblivion -- we all owe her a debt of gratitude.

Full review to come. I have a lot to say about this book and I want to make sure I say it correctly. But for now, let's just say, this book tremendously affected me and I won't soon forget everything I learned.
