I have come to expect that SEP goes a little bit crazy after the halfway mark in her novels. Leaving the reader wondering as the logic takes a flying leap and you don't know how you got from one scene to the next. With this novel at least, I was pleasantly surprised. It was interesting and funny in parts, as well as providing interesting lead and supporting characters. The similarities to the well publicised Aniston/Pitt/Jolie debacle were obvious, but not disconcerting or overpowering once you know to expect it. Overall I liked it, and will breathe a little easier when I pick up another SEP book.
