Very interesting reading! I recommend it, even for those people not quite as "sciency" as me. In fact, maybe especially for you. Shubin does a great job of explaining scientific information in layman's terms, and making it interesting too! It is not only the evolutionary story of humanity (which is fascinating), but also the story of how we figured some of this stuff out...
