A good book for a one time read. The starting looks promising but the story picks up an unnatural course in the middle. Overall a good one time read.
For Barbara Kingsolver, it wasn't my absolute favorite, nor did it have the page-turner rhythm to it that "Poisonwood Bible" did. The writing was lovely, and the weaving in of historical figures also entertaining. But I can't say I really LOVED like her others.
