I was disappointed by this book, and on the whole, I am thoroughly disappointed by the Creed brothers trilogy. For me, this isn't Linda Lael Miller at her best. If I can be honest, it's far from it. (Where's the author of Mojo?). These Creed romance stories come across as shallow, tame, lame, especially where the characters are concerned. Also the storylines are in NO WAY particularly original. I'll have to admit I enjoyed the family dynamics, but there it stops. I have nothing against hot steamy sex to be part of a story, but then, I really need that story to be filled with characters bigger than life, real life persons. Characters who make you feel and who really draw you in. I do know that authors write for various edition houses (with different expectations), and depending on those, their stories are better and especially THEIR WRITING is (or not).
