I love short stories, and I love stories that make you think, draw on mythological allusion, or are well written. Most of all, I love stories that don't fit neatly into any genre. Gaiman's short bits of prose and poetry aren't exactly ghost stories (though there are ghosts), myths (though many myths appear) or fantasy (though they are fantastic). Enjoy.
