I think it is probably very hard to write an engaging novel about the listlessness of the modern cubicle-dwelling worker. But this book just sucked. Plus it ends with a 40 page email screed that I assume answers some plot questions, but that I couldn't bring myself to care enough about to read. I would recommend instead reading Then We Came To The End by Joshua Ferris.
