More than the story of Ben's life itself, what I liked about this book was the portrayal of a common man's life in those days. The autobiography itself is a little disappointing since the story is to be found in bits and pieces, and the narration is discontinuous. But it surely does provide a glimpse of the simple workings of the great mind that Ben Franklin was.

As far as chick lit goes, this one is really good. I can totally see this being made into a movie starring Reese Witherspoon. Definitely worth reading.
