Although it took awhile to get going I really enjoyed Dreaming Anastasia. Ive always been intrested in the Romanov murders and enjoy reading all the mystery that hung around the posiblity of Anastasia somehow making it out of the ordeal alive. Preble weaves an intresting tale of magic and mystery to a new take on what happened to the grand duchess. I loved the characters of Ethan a member of the Brotherhood, a Russian monk group whose mission is to save the trapped Anastasia from Russian witch Baba Gaya, & Anne, a 17 year old ballerina that is haunted my dreams of Anastasia and the night her family was murdered. Ethan & Anee had good chemistry and spirit. My only negative reactions were to the sometimes confusing story and mythology behind "The Brotherhood". I would have like a little more narrative on the history of The Brotherhood, how Ethan & Victor knew each other and the cause they were behind. I'm intrested to see where Preble will go from here with these characters.
