This was among the books I checked out for vacation that I actually before vacation even started. Read in just a few hours, it was a pleasant story and I somehow managed to learn about circus life in the 1920's. As it so happens, my old ladies who are old enough to remember the 1920's talk about the circuses like one might talk about the greatest sex he/ she has ever had.
