This book has the most soul crushing moments that I've ever read (most of you people know what scene I'm talking about). People always complain about it being too dark and offering no redemption whatsoever but let's be honest in the world these characters "live" where does kindness take you? and sadly it's way too easy to draw comparisons to real life situations. All in All I'm a Joe Abercrombie fan for life and this book is one of four reasons why.

Jodi always writes interesting books. I enjoyed the comic book through the book, but other books of hers had more punch at the end.
