Satire at its best. A loveable serial killer.

Ok, I just finished Mating and I haven't fully digested it to put up a review. But all I have to say for now is that the last line is in French, and that's fairly indicative of the book as a whole. Rush assumes that the reader will get alot of obscure and often multi-lingual references. But the characters are real and lovely. Does anyone have an opinion on whether Rush succeeded in capturing the femaleness of a female narrator?
