I love how the name of this book, Vintage Affair, has more than one meaning as it corelates to the characters and plots. Phoebe, a vintage clothing shop owner, thrives on cleaning up and reselling old clothes. And it seems that each piece of clothing either has its own story, or will be starting a new story with it's new owner. So there were many mini-stories within this one book. Some of my favorites were seeing who bought the cupcake dresses (as seen on the cover of this book) and also the story of Mrs. Bell, the French WWII survivor who's best friend was a Jew, living in Paris and rounded up during the Natzi occupation. Phoebe is vintage in what she does for a living, the people she works with, and the men she dates! But I loved how each piece of clothing effected her life as well. Great, feel good book, but not only for chick lit lovers.
