This is an excellent collection of short stories. The diversity of the various tales is undercut by themes of wonder, horror, and the unexplained (not to sound too cliche about it). What I especially appreciated was the approach the book took to finding content. Authors were contacted to write short works based on the idea that good stories leave the reader asking, "...And then what happened?" This holds true throughout and while the stories all reinforce the theme, for the most part they can also hold their own. If you're a fan of short fiction this is one collection you won't want to pass up.
