wow a John Grisham book with a decent ending! He is getting better at writing endings. While the book is a bit overdone in my opinion, it is a quick read and i enjoyed it a lot.

I feel conflicted about this book. It was a fun, well-plotted, page-turner of a dystopian novel. Always good. But it totally lacked any kind of subtlety that could have made it a really awesome book. I felt like Atwood was constantly hitting me over the head with every little symbolism, theme, clever idea, etc. Strangely, it made me like and appreciate The Blind Assassin more than when I did when I originally read it.
