REVOLUTION has made my list of all-time favorite books. I could not put it down. Donnelly pulls off an amazing high-wire juggling act, combining history (French Revolution), contemporary issues (a teen dealing with a trauma), music (from 18th-century composers to Radiohead and the Decemberists), travel (Paris! catacombs!) and a dash of the paranormal -- and all of these elements are equally compelling, and combine to dizzying effect. Teens and adults alike should find much to love about this book; I think it has great crossover appeal.
