I never had time for Shakespeare untill i had to read this for one of my assignments and was utterly blown away. The Procrastination of the young Prince as he diliberates all that he knows which is reflected in one of the most famous silioquays of all time...'To be or Not to be That is the question.' For me this line and this speech is the essence of the play as Shakespeare takes all of the questions,the doubts and worries and strips it bare to its most simple form, piviting on the monosyllabic of not to show that the question is simple. The floods of imagery that permeates the speech after this first line shows that the consequence of action is far more complex than the action itself. Outstanding play!
