So I've glanced at some of the other reviews and I agree that this book does remind me of Jennifer Aniston / Brad and Angelina. The story starts out with Georgie (America's Sweetheart) having been recently dumped by her actor husband (Lance) for an actress (Jade) he fell in love with while filming a movie. However, imo that is where the real life comparison stops and I think trying to compare after that is a stretch. I was actually a little worried that I wouldn't like this book because I'm team "People should mind their own business and we have no idea what really happened with J / B & A" and I didn't really want to read a whole book bashing any side, however, like I said I don't think beyond the very initial basic premise there is much comparison. Anyway, like pretty much all of SEP's books, I really liked this one. I loved the way Bram made fun of Lance, I loved the inside look at what a star's life must be like with all the paparazzi. I really liked Georgie and I loved Bram. I even liked that there seemed to be more secondary storylines going on this book. Also, I really love seeing old characters pop up and learning what is going on in their lives. If you tend to like romance books, I would recommend this one.
A bit on the fluffy side....but I liked it...enough that I did go on to read many of her other books. How far would you go to help a stranger?
