Çok hayal kırıklığı. Şovu, kitabı seviyorum ... çok fazla değil. Bazı ilginç bitler ve bazı komik parçalar var, ama genel olarak sıkıcı ve sıkıcıydı. Her yere atlar. Bunun böyle harika bir televizyon dizisine nasıl ilham verdiğini anlamak zor.

Akıllı ve kışkırtıcı. Pulitzer Ödülü için finalist olmalı.

Ne gezgin. "Üç" Ben: "İtalya, Hindistan, Endonezya lezzetli detaylar vermişti. Boşanmada ... çivilenmiş!

I like Artie Lange, and I think he's funny. He's also apparently willing to be brutally honest about himself and his problems. Which makes this book simultaneously fun and heartbreaking to read. Honestly, it's like reading a first person version of last year's "The Chris Farley Story", with a talented guy so far down in the world of drugs and booze that you just know what's coming. And you just want to get ahold of him and slap some sense into him, even though you know it wouldn't do any good.

I remember that as soon as I finished this book as a kid I read it again just to pick up on all the fascinating details that one inevitably misses on the first run through

Really good book.

I have to now go and take a few happiness showers because this book is SO bleak- well, the trilogy is bleak, so i'm not sure why i was surprised by the darkness of all three books. It does get a little taxing trying to keep motivated to read such intense sadness and ugliness. Ugh. But by far this one was the better of the three. I just wish it wasn't so long- sometimes the journey just draggggssss... and the pay off in the end is not that great. So you hang on to get a cool reward for sticking with the story- and nope, just more darkness and sadness. I think I'm going to read some Julia Child or something funny because i'm just so tired of dystopian nightmare love stories.

Detectives Nick Valenti and Sean O'Brian have spent a year together, after what happen in The Assignment. They love each other but in the '80 years their love is a secret. Suddenly Valenti is forced to a desk job and another partner goes patrol with O'Brien... and also their relationship seems to take apart the two. But O'Brien doesn't want to loss his partner, his friend, his lover and he will not stop in front of nothing to convince Valenti. The setting in the '80 years, gives to this story a different perspective from the other M/M stories I read. Here Valenti and O'Brien love each other, but can't demonstrate their feelings openly. So their love is much more exclusive, they share a strongest link. It is also interesting to read how they approach their feelings, they are not gay (don't have interest in other males), they love each other. And the sex is hot, and also a dirty vocal sex! http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/23...

This book sucked until the last ten pages. I couldn't pay attention most of the time and the descriptions of plants just bored me I guess. The last ten pages were edge of your seat pages.
