Wow. I thought the first 3 pages were really good? Kind of wish Edward had stayed ignoring Bella, and she'd remained fixated on how much she pitied herself, because all the scenes once they'd discovered their 'feelings' were just so wooden, it was terrible. But despite me being motivated to enjoy Twilight as good popular fiction, there were just things that irked me, and not the things I thought would irk me. I know I'm not coherent, but Twilight wasn't as good or bad as I thought it would be, which is disappointing. ETA: After reading Midnight's Daughter, had to give Twilight another star.
