Boring. Well written, but boring. Not as boring as a lot of "classics", but still only worth reading just because a lot of other people have read it. The narrator isn't the main character (what is it with old authors doing that?), and the main character (spoiler) dies. Several people die. Several people have ongoing affairs. There are hardly any consequences for some people, and there isn't much of a lesson in the story any where. At least it's short and doesn't have lengthy description. Admittedly, I had to read the book for a class, which makes it hard to find something good in it.

loved it...sat up until 1am to finish it :) ahhh reyes love him.can't wait to read the 3rd book in february!
