Silzang Na Na itibaren Karaiani, Assam, India
ugh, someone needs to explain to me why this is supposed to be so great. Dialogue, exposition and description all equally stilted. Didn't remotely care about any of the characters. Jarring POV shifts, sometimes within SENTENCES let alone paragraphs/sections. Frustrating, distracting throw-forwards (can't call them foreshadowing because they are entirely unsubtle), e.g., 'She did not say blah blah to him. She would in the future.' I quit on page 42.
Definitely up there as one of the better thrillers I've read recently. However, I wish publishers wouldn't say there's a great twist - it's annoying!
