I loved this book.

I love Chabon and this book is a prime example of why. Take a weird historical could have been...in this case Jews resettled in Alaska as part of some weird suggestion via the US Congress during WWII...and add in a whole lotta noir. I loved it.

Loved it, as did my whole book club. Such a sweet and innocent friendship against the backdrop of war and prejudice.
