I really loved this book. It's another crazy family memoir but a little darker and more heartfelt than others I've read.

Alanna's brother recommended this book. He also recommended WHAT IS THE WHAT, so I trusted him. This book went back and forth between the past and present while Willie goes on a search for her biological father. I found the historical portions tedious. I think the book would have worked without the past. The characters are over the top.
