I thought this book was great...

This book has a very interesting idea and is written in a way that makes you read it quickly, but I had a few problems with it. The main problem is that it is very dark for a teen novel. I had a friend who read at least part of the next book and told me it only gets darker. The other big problem I had with this book was that the children/characters did thing I don't think they would. they acted more like adults than kids sometimes and often without reason except that they were a little crazy. This book was still enjoyable though if you can get past those things. Overall it terrified me to think of myself in this place. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind dark and scary and wants to read an interesting idea.
