Erin has an excellent review. You should read that one if you're at all interested in a modern faerie tale with lots and lots of faeries and an epic good vs. evil conflict. There were parts of this book that were excellent, like the types of magic that happened. Those creative things, though, did not also have an excellent plot to string them together. Oh well. As to everyone's problems in their reviews with the excessive nature of swearing in this book, yup. I guess this falls into the category of don't write like you talk, because it seemed pretty realistic to me, and not like she was trying to prove herself.
