Bu, özellikle 60'lara ve 'aşk yazına' ve sonrasındaki olaylara odaklanan LSD ve taraftarlarının yarattığı etkileri araştıran çok ilginç bir kitap. Geçmişe bakıldığında, epilog özellikle yanlıştır.

Bu kitap üzerinde çok olumsuz yorumlar olduğunu şaşırdım. Aslında bunu ilk kitaptan biraz daha fazla sevdim. Gerçekten yarım yıldızlara izin vermesini diliyorum, çünkü ilk kitabı 3 buçuk ve bu kitabı 4'e verirdim. Bu kitaplar kesinlikle Harry Potter hayranlarının yerini tutmaz. Bununla birlikte, çok yaratıcı olan çok eğlenceli fantezi masallarıdır. Kitaplarda bazı yavaş noktalar var ve karakterler HP'deki kadar çekici ve sevimli değil. Ama Dustfinger'i bu kitapta Inkheart'tan çok daha fazla sevdim. Sanırım bu kitabı ilkinden daha çok sevmemin bir parçası, her şeyin planlandığı gibi gitmemesi ve bana daha gerçekçi bir hikaye kazandırması. Beni yanlış anlamayın, sonlardan sonra da mutlu bir şekilde seviyorum. Ama bence mutsuz sonlardan zevk alan daha karanlık ve alaycı tarafım. Hayat bazen adil değildir, ama bundan en iyisini yaparsınız. Üçüncü kitabım Inkdeath var ve başlamayı dört gözle bekliyorum.

This woman just help co-author with John Perkins the sequal of 'Confessions of an Economic Hitman'...'The Bush Agenda' does not reveal any monumental cover-ups, but a good read nonetheless.

I really enjoyed this book. It gave insight into the Indian culture as well as had universal themes in which everyone can relate to.

Not a bad overview, but it was repetitive and I don't feel like it added that much to my understanding of the issues. I felt like it was mostly an explanation of administrative law and constitutional law and that I would have preferred to learn about more health policy specific issues.

An immensely well-written piece on the Wall Street crash. I could understand the ins and outs of the market as he describes it. Actually evoking some laughs along the way at the way Mr. Lewis describes his key players. You needed the laughs to offset the acutely depressing idea of what was happening. I would recommend this to anyone interesting in knowing the back story.

Fluffy fluff mystery romance novel crap set in my neighborhood. Jacket says "Anyone with a sister should read this" I disagree.

I enjoyed the author's Baker Towers and liked her new book a lot. This deals with an Irish family in Boston. The oldest son is a priest, accused of molesting a boy. The family members deal with the scandal in their own separate ways. There's the issue of faith in God and also of faith in a son/brother. Very thought-provoking!
